5 Ways OnTarget Can Help Spring Clean Your Business

HAPPY SPRING!

This coming Monday, March 20th, is the official first day of Spring, and it is a great time for your business to start some much-needed "spring cleaning." Here are five ways OnTarget Digital Services can help dust off your business and make it shine!

1. Obtain Customer Feedback

Find out what your customers think about your company. Use their valuable feedback to tidy up your processes and customer service. OnTarget has created an easy-to-use mobile app that asks your customers to provide their feedback via a simple 3-question survey.

2. Gather New Online Reviews

If your customers provide positive feedback in the survey above, then it may be a great time to ask them to write an online review. Your company’s business reviews on Google, Facebook, and Yelp are important referrals when prospective customers are searching online for the products and services you provide. OnTarget’s mobile survey app does the asking for you, giving your customers an easy way to rate your business on the major review sites and giving your fresh new reviews for prospects to read. Manage your online reputation by monitoring what is being said and don't forget to respond to your customers' reviews to show how much you appreciate them!

3. Update Your Social Media Profiles

Make sure your company's social profiles are up-to-date and tighten up all the little details about your business. Have your hours, products or services changed? Is your branding and messaging consistent across all social sites? Make a plan to post interesting and lead-generating content frequently. OnTarget provides social media monitoring and content creation services to help ease the burden and keep things fresh.

4. Create New Ad Campaigns

Are you advertising on Google, Pinterest, or Facebook? If not, give it a try to see what kind of boost in web traffic or sales referrals you may get. Or if you already are running online ads, give them a refresh by evaluating and updating your keywords, results, and content. OnTarget offers paid search advertising services to help you start or refresh Google and Facebook advertising campaigns for your business.

5. Update Your Website

Take the time to make sure your all your links are current, check analytics, and optimize your site for search. Add new relevant content, make sure there aren’t any page-not-found messages, confirm your forms and emails are working properly, etc. OnTarget conducts a comprehensive website review and provides website design and content creation services.

Spring Clean Your Business With These 4 Tips

Article from TMDLCPA.com
June 16, 2022

Now that warm weather is here to stay, many of us are ready to tidy up a bit and get a fresh start with spring cleaning. While you may be thinking of the physical sense, your business could likely benefit from some spring cleaning as well. This applies to every area of your business. Just like anything else in life, our businesses change with the world around us, and it’s important that we can keep up with them to maximize their success and minimize any potential headaches. Below is a list of some tactics you may want to include as you nail down your business goals this year.

1. Goal Setting and Check-Ins

Hopefully, when you started your business you had a goal in mind; maybe you even had more than one. Now is the time to take a look at how close you are to achieving those goals, celebrate the ones you’ve attained, and get back to planning for others. Some of these may be worth finessing if your business has pivoted. There may also be new goals you want to add. As your business evolves, your goals should too. Taking the time to assess new short and long-term goals with your team and set up tangible benchmarks to measure your success can help keep you from getting discouraged or distracted when obstacles appear.

2. An Overall Brand Health Check

With your goals re-aligned, it’s time to check in with your branding. Does your business still do and stand for what it did a year ago, or have you made some necessary changes to hone in on your brand? Having clarity with yourself and your team makes it easier to communicate clearly with outside sources, including stakeholders, customers, and other businesses. Once your team is clear on where you stand, you can check in with the aspects of your business that represent you – including your website, social media, and upcoming marketing campaigns – to ensure that all of your branding reflects the business you have now.

3. Keeping Systems Tidy

While we all want to believe that everything is always in order, typically everyone has at least one chink in their proverbial armor. Are your files organized? Are your books up to date? What about your client list? Checking in with the systems you’ve put in place helps you see exactly where you’re standing to help you move forward. This process can also help you learn to navigate those weak spots and maybe even change those systems to ones that work better for you. Perhaps you work better when everything is digitized the second you get it, or maybe you need to set aside one afternoon a week to do it. Whatever the case, it is essential to make sure your systems are working for you and not the other way around.

4. Physical Cleaning

It had to come up at some point, right? While cleanliness is not a virtue, many experts have touted the benefits of having a clean workspace, whether that be a communal office, or just the corner of your home that is carved out for business during working hours (the coffee table counts!). For many, having a clean workspace keeps distractions to a minimum because the objects around you remind you of work and not the other things going on in your life. This can increase your concentration on work and let you get back to those other aspects even sooner. Not to mention, having free space can give your imagination a chance to come up with creative new ideas for your business, which is always a good thing.

Make Your Breakfast More Beautiful With These Pancake Fruit Tarts!

Ingredients:

FOR PANCAKES

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon butter, melted (plus more for frying)
  • 1 cup milk
FOR TART TOPPING
  • Greek yogurt
  • Your choice of fruit
  • Honey or maple syrup, to serve

Directions:

1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, then add the eggs, melted butter and half of the milk. Whisk thoroughly until smooth, then add the remaining milk, and whisk again to create your pancake batter.

2. Butter a non-stick frying pan, and add a ladleful of the pancake batter. Cook over a medium heat for a couple of minutes, until you see bubbles beginning to form, then flip the pancake over, and cook for a further 1 minute. Repeat with the remaining mixture.

3. Spread a couple of teaspoons of Greek yogurt over each pancake — you want a good covering to help the fruit stick.

4. If necessary, slice the fruit or cut it into small pieces. Arrange it on top of the pancakes to give the look of a fruit tart.

Don’t feel you need to make all of your pancake fruit tarts look the same — I enjoyed experimenting with different patterns. Try stripes, circles, random polka dots, whatever you fancy!

And of course, no pancake breakfast is complete without a generous drizzle of maple syrup!
